Kennedy García lives in the United States and is the third child in a family of five. She has faced severe health challenges, including Down syndrome, leukemia, and back problems. Despite doctors’ advice to leave the child in the hospital, a nurse supported the mother and convinced her not to abandon the girl.

She spent her first two years in bed but found inspiration in dance, which helped her recover.
