In the morning, I went to the pharmacy and noticed an elderly woman standing in silence. Concerned, I decided to find out what was happening, maybe she wasn’t feeling well. The grandmother replied that she simply didn’t have enough money to buy the medications she needed for her life.

In other words, she faced a choice – either go hungry or buy the necessary medicines. Of course, I immediately purchased the medications she needed, took out all the money from my pocket, and gave it to her. But how many of these grandparents do we have?

I would like to ask first our government and then other ‘forces’: What message do you want to send to retirees, to our grandparents?

People who have worked hard all their lives are now crying out in helplessness because they can’t afford the medications they need, even with an increased pension. For what purpose?

I don’t want to think about the worst. So let’s not wait. I invite everyone to perform small acts of kindness. I suggest just looking around more attentively. You will see how many opportunities there are to do good deeds.”
